Just a few things....

Thank you all for your sweet comments yesterday - today was a MUCH better day...
I even did my next craft, inspired by Hadar :)
It's a post-it note holder!

Hadar's are way cuter...but, I just used what I had around the house, though I DID have to go buy a frame. I thought I had some flowers at home to put in the corner, but I don't....so I'll add that later (a daisy, of course since those are my fave!)

I just wanted to share a couple of things with you....

First, I really did marry quite the crafty man. He's a lot like me. He sees something and thinks "ooh - idea!"
He was playing with some Play-doh with Autumn yesterday, and thought, "hey, what about play-doh clip art!?"

So he made some letters....and turned it into clip art! lol

It's Play-Doh Clip art...
cute, hunh??

Also...I logged onto our county's library to place a book on hold...and LOOK at what I saw staring at me!!!

Brevard County Libraries - eLibrary Catalog

They are now lending e-books for your e-reading pleasure!!
I'm so excited, I just put Hunger Games on hold.
I don't know how to get it from my PC to my Nook yet, but I'm hoping I can figure it out.
Any of your libraries do this??
Wanna give a sistah some tips??
lol

And today, I started working on my St. Patty pack...yippee!!

So far for the literacy it is going to be:
ABC order to the 3rd letter
Part of Speech sorting
sentence stretcher
fact/opinion

and for the math it's going to be:
2-digit addition with and without grouping
graphing
missing addends

who knows...it could change, or I could add more - we'll see :)

Of course, I'll be splitting it up into just math and literacy or making a bundle...people seem to like having that option, so I'm stickin' with it :) And probably for the same low price.

I really want to do my Dr. Seuss pack - but I'm trying to find clip art I like...that's in "cheap" range..lol! I know scrappin doodles and MelonHeadz has some...anyone know any other places??

Love the fonts!

YAY about the nook/library!

My library does that too for e-books and I do it all the time for my Kindle.

I just go to the e-book I want and click it. If it's available, then I hop over to Amazon where I download it. I don't know if that's how you'll do yours or not. But yeah, I click 'check out'. Should be pretty easy. Hope that helps!

My library has ebooks too! It is so great, except for the shorter check out time. I have to use adobe epub to downloadable books. Once it is downloaded to adobe digital editions and my nook is plugged into my computer, I just drag the book to my nook.

Jen,
You wouldn't happen to be in North Carolina? If so, I am just down the mountain from you :)

Whoaa I'm going to go check if my library has ebooks right now! I spend way too much money on books from amazon. Thanks for the tip! And your craft came out great!

My library checks out e-books too! I do the same thing that Laurie does with the Adobe Epub thing. The first time I did it it took me FOREVER to download all the stuff but now it is easy peasy!! It is awesome!
